Fellow Londoners,
I propose much party-arty-arty-ing like it's 1899. Let's set a date for a society party so we can get this show on the road and actually have a large (three, so sue me), group RP.
I beseech all two of you to reply to this thread with ideas!

I think that's a great idea! I have this Friday, Saturday and Sunday off, so I should be available for some RP over the weekend, but maybe we should think further afield so we can put together a real swanky soirée. I will be making a mansion dream at some point, so that might be a more appropriate location for such an event, but in the meantime I suppose the Club, Opera, or Coffeehouse would suffice. I also plan on adding a Salon to the Club House as a more feminine counterpart to the gentlemen's Smoking Room We could have party favours, tea and biscuits, musical entertainments, dinner and dancing, parlour games, perhaps even some gambling later in the evening... any other suggestions? A quick search turned up a couple links that might be of interest: www.burrows.com/other/manners.htmlwww.erasofelegance.com/history/victorianlife.htmlwww.funjoint.com/parlour.htm

Sunday and Monday are my best days this week. Good idea with the party favors! This could be a splendid opportunity to welcome our Japanese friend to our charming village. Maybe a dinner is in order? I like your idea of doing it in a big fancy house. I'd be more than willing to help make it happen.

I am throwing together a mansion dream, and I should have something ready by tomorrow (Sunday). If people are around, we could meet for a tea party IC, and perhaps discuss plans for a larger ball OOC.

Just wanted to let folks know that I may not be around today as I had hoped - unexpected real life stuff. But the tentative plan remains the same for a party of some sort in the near future.
