Hi, I just found out about The Big Smoke on Guild and Group Day, so I hope I can still submit this application to join. Thank you in advance for reading it!

Yes.
What time(s) are you generally online (Furcadia Standard Time)?
It varies according to my course-load that day, but typically from 5:00pm FST until 2:00am or 3:00am FST. My timezone, by the way, is America's EST.
What is your preferred play style (Strict Roleplay or Persona Roleplay)?
It's really a mix of both for me, it depends on my mood, who I'm playing with, and what's going on. Typically it's safe assume it's Strict Roleplay though for me.
Are you interested in taking on any IC positions (e.g. Bartender)?
Yes, student, pilot, explorer, possible diplomat (though that would likely be unintentional initially), inventor, and mechanic.
Are you interested in taking on any OOC responsibilities (e.g. Uploader)?
Possibly, though I really don't have any experience working OOC on dreams. So, if someone wanted help I'd be happy to do so, but you'd have to teach me.

Briefly describe your character's appearance: >
A young girl, she was only 16. Her clothing consists of a black bomber jacket over a light pink shirt which is almost too short for her. Her pants are specially designed cargo pants, baggy for movement and made of soft leather. When flying, she's often seen wearing padded leather gloves at least until she's in her single engine. On her forehead she almost always has on her brass and leather blast goggles.
Briefly describe your character's background:
Erin isn't originally a Londoner, she's actually a transplanted Yank. Born and mostly raised in a small town of Stoughton, MA she comes from a single parent home. Not really having a Mother around to teach her that girls didn't work on engines, or want to become pilots, or play some of the games boys played Erin was raised solely by her Father. Born of a french immigrant family, Erin was the first of her family to be born state-side which explained her lack of a french accent and occasional confusion with culture clashes.
After turning 14 she began taking flight lessons from some of the pilots at a nearby airfield, and soon enough through lying about her age she was able to get her license to fly. Her Father, both proud and more than a little worried had attempted to set her off to a better life after that point. This, in his mind, meant a boarding school abroad for the little tomboy. Though she's fond of the education she's receiving, Erin can't help but hear the call of adventure and fun so she's often found in places where most proper girls aren't after school hours. Tinkering on engines, at the airfield, or anyplace like-minded people meet.

Erin Garnet sat in her class, half listening to the kindly nun explaining the fine points of the art of the written word and why authors such as Mary Shelley and Lord Byron had slaughtered it so. Glancing down at her notebook however, one would see that the young girl was sketching new designs for her single engine plane's fuel intake. Nodding her head periodically as her bomber jacket was draped over her chair she added the occasional "Yes, Sister Louise." as she pretended to take notes.
As such it was quiet a shock for the young pilot whom sat there begrudgingly in her white blouse and plaid skirt, as was the school's uniform when she heard a ruler snap across her desk. Looking up quickly, she was surprised that the nun had found her out. "Are you even aware of what we were discussing?", Sister Louise asked her harshly. "Yes, Sister Louise.", she said having plucked a few words from the conversation. "You were discussing the wonderful contributions of Mary Shelley and Lord Byron to the world of literature, weren't you?" She asked before being sent to the corner of the room where she promptly donned the class's Dunce Cap.
