Character Questionnaire:
What is your character's full name?
Boston Monet Gunn
What is your character's Furcadia screen name?
Boston Gunn
Briefly describe your character's appearance:
A young, beautiful woman. Flowing brown tresses met the small of her back, often braided and pulled into a neat bun displaying her high cheek bones and thin neck. Simple smile indicating a coy nature, grey eyes reflecting youth and sprite. Earrings dangled from her earlobes, and a simplistic necklace draped rested just before he r busom. The woman's dress seemed complicated; numerous petticoats were worn with layers of underclothes that covered the metal hoops, accompanied by a tight corset covered by a bodice. Her attire was lavishly trimmed with lace and frills. The deep forest green coloring complimented her pale complexion; her beauty matching her behavior - vibrant.
Briefly describe your character's background:
Upper Middle Class; Her father had a first son, and things were going well for some time. That is, until he noticed that his beloved son had quite the theatrical flair. In the hopes of raising a proud military man, they had another child. This time, it was a girl, much to her father's disappointment; resulting in her slightly masculine name - Boston. With one child going off to join the opera, her father (Michael Gunn) was hell bent on keeping his daughter in line. She would, if he could manage it, marry a wealthy man and become the perfect house wife. As it goes, she's an intelligent, fiery child that had quite the fling going on - until her dad found out. Despite her mother's protests, who supported the love affair to the not-so-wealthy young man, Michael sent his daughter to London with an excuse; "You won't marry an American!" Now, she has moved in with her Aunt and Uncle, though on the elder end, they are good natured people and wealthy enough to live comfortably while supporting the young woman.
Post an example of roleplay (no more than a paragraph or two):
Boston had stared out on the horizon where she had only just lived for a good portion of her trip to London. She put on a stiff upper lip for the occasion, given how heavy it fell on her heart; her father sending her away from her American lover. She sighed lightly, her tight bodice barely managing such simple movements. Eventually, she turned around in her seat, smoothing out the ruffles in her dress and looking at her fellow passengers. A gloved hand brushed a lock of brown hair out of her face, tucking it behind her ear for safe keeping. Holding her head high, she looked forward with light gray hues - wondering what kind of life awaited her when she stepped off the platform and onto solid London ground.
